-
IV (intravenous) infusion therapy delivers fluids and selected nutrients directly into the bloodstream through a small cannula placed in a vein.
This method allows hydration and nutrients to bypass the digestive system and be absorbed efficiently.
At Infinity Infusions, all treatments are provided by qualified nurses under approved medical oversight.
-
When provided following appropriate medical screening and clinical assessment, IV therapy is generally well tolerated.
Before treatment, you will complete a comprehensive health questionnaire and discuss your medical history with our nursing team to ensure suitability.
As with any procedure involving a needle, there are potential risks such as bruising or mild discomfort. Rare complications will be discussed during your informed consent process.

All clients undergo a health screening and clinical assessment prior to treatment. If needed, we may recommend discussing IV therapy with your GP.

IV therapy may not be suitable for everyone. It is generally not recommended for individuals with certain medical conditions, including hepatic (liver), cardiac (heart), or renal (kidney) conditions. Treatment may also not be appropriate during pregnancy or for those taking specific medications.
All clients are assessed on a case-by-case basis prior to treatment to ensure safety and suitability. In some cases, medical clearance may be required before proceeding.
Please note that IV therapy is only available to individuals aged 18 years and over.
